About
There are a number of different groups of people involved in the development of the UN Influx story.
Chief Organiser
Max Kalis works in digital innovation for Lloyds Banking Group for the last 3 years. Having explored the relationship between the UN and public via studying at the UN University (Tokyo) and a Msc in Global Politics at LSE he has decided it would be appropriate to apply the practices of digital innovation to the UN model. While Influx existed before as development of a weighted voting and relative sovereignty model for the UN he has decided to be less prescriptive and explore a wider, more collaborative range of means to help the UN to be all it can be.
Charity Trustees
Max works for the UN Influx Hackathon, on behalf of the Influx Trust (registered UK charity 1155172), whose aims are the same as the UN Influx work. The Influx Trust trustees are:
Adam Dunn, is a founding Partner of a headhunting firm specialising in the Management Consultancy space. His experience spans both the private and public sector, typically operating at the most senior levels within Consultancies. Adam brings expertise in all HR and People related matters. In addition his experience of creating and growing a small business has provided him with a range of experience relevant to the development of UN Influx.
Charlotte Meyer, an Associate Director at Pakenham Partners Limited, a boutique firm focused on providing fiercly independent strategic corporate finance advice. Charlotte is passionate about creating a more peaceful and sustainable world and devotes her time to volunteer with organisations and companies that work towards this purpose. In addition to serving as a trustee to the Influx Trust Charlotte works with the international education movement UWC International where she serves on the Council and Nominating & Governance Committee and also leads alumni outreach events in London. She holds a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University and is a graduate of UWC-USA.
Paul Sprinz, is co-founder and producer at Stripe, a production company that specialises in content for businesses, working across a wide range of sectors from healthcare to motor racing and everything in between. He started his career in marketing for live events, especially music and theatre. With 8 years of experience he moved into communications and increasingly found himself working in film, going on to produce numerous film projects for a series of major international clients. With a vision for how film for business could and should be, he co-founded Stripe in 2009.
Together this teams scrutinises the charitable nature of Influx projects developed and provide both financial and moral sanity checks.
